The FCA Quality Organization is currently seeking a Certification Line Unit Leader on the B Crew at the Warren Truck Assembly Plant. This position offers the selected candidate an opportunity to be an integral part of a company whose focus is to change the automotive landscape. The Certification Line Unit Leader will manage the certification line quality verification stations and is the focal point of contact for all certification line quality issues, ensuring shift to shift consistency, and utilizing the data to drive issues to closure utilizing the World Class Manufacturing methodologies. The Certification Line Unit Leader must be a creative problem solver, proactive and steadfast in the identification and resolution of vehicle quality issues.

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Supervise certification line quality verification personnel
  • Responsible for tracking and reporting quality concerns identified
  • Assist in root cause, containment and corrective actions for all quality related issues in the manufacturing facility
  • Training of newly and re-assigned personnel
  • Management of time sheet and payroll management of all bargaining unit employees
  • Hands-on training and coaching salary and bargaining unit employees on the World Class Manufacturing methodologies

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Ability to analyze and translate data into visual charts/graphs etc. for reporting purposes
  • Demonstrated use of problem solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Two (2) years quality experience
  • Supervisory experience
  • Knowledge of engineering specs, standards, and build objectives
