The Facility Engineering Manager is responsible for leading the Facility Maintenance and Engineering departments across 3 crews, insuring no interruptions in operations and adequate working conditions for all employees. The Manager coordinates and prioritizes both internal maintenance resources and purchased services. The Manager also coordinates plant cleaning activities through a contracted service. The Facility Engineering Manager will manage the World Class Manufacturing (WCM) Pillar leads for Professional Maintenance, Early Equipment Management, and Environmental. The position is responsible for continued certification under ISO 14001 Environment and ISO 50001 Energy. The selected candidate is also the single point contact for development and analysis of additional business opportunities for Toledo North Assembly Plant. The position also has shipping and receiving responsibility as well as coordination of tool store operations.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field
  • Minimum 8 years' experience in facility maintenance or a related field
  • Experience implementing preventive and predictive maintenance programs
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and experience managing skilled and technical employees
  • Familiarity with WCM Professional Maintenance, Early Equipment Management, and Environmental Pillars and their methodology or LEAN manufacturing experience
  • Demonstrated ability to coach/mentor/develop employees
  • Experience with computer maintenance management systems
  • Excellent organizational, written, and oral communication skills
  • Ability to interface with various levels of employees within all areas of the plant from hourly represented employees through senior leadership
 Preferred Qualifications:
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Project including planning, resource scheduling, and reporting
  • Previous manufacturing experience
