The Accounts Payable Analyst is responsible for interaction with various operating groups and vendors to provide payment processing support and issue resolution. This position performs month-end activities including: month-end reporting, monitors month-end metrics, analyzes trends in data and recommends process improvement initiatives to management. The Accounts Payable Analyst ensures compliance with Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) and facilitates random sample testing on a quarterly basis. This position works with FCA IT groups on Accounts Payable related system enhancements. The Accounts Payable Analyst works with Accounts Payable offshore group to ensure efficient payment processing. In addition, you would need to be a highly motivated self-starter and change agent, with demonstrated ability to work on cross-functional teams, have strong analytical and problem solving skills, strong process and system focus, ability to manage multiple priorities with conflicting deadlines, with excellent oral and written communication skills.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting
  • Minimum 3 years of Finance or Accounting related work experience (including internships)
  • High proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Word.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's in Accounting and/or CPA or other accounting designation
  • Knowledge of the Purchase to Pay process
