The Maintenance Area Supervisor is responsible for supervising skilled trade employees in support of production processes. The Leader will support related automation and manufacturing operations controls and is responsible for addressing throughput, run to run and downtime related issues with equipment in a production environment. Utilize knowledge of trades, methods, machinery and equipment capabilities to plan project operations and establish priorities and sequences for manufacturing products. Coordinate activities according to World Class Manufacturing (WCM) standards (particularly the autonomous and professional maintenance pillar activities) while impacting overall equipment effectiveness, through a systematic approach of planning and executing key maintenance enablers and coordinating all activities utilizing the TMS system. 

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical/engineering discipline required; or
  • Journeyman status with minimum of 5 years manufacturing experience; or
  • Minimum of 10 years of technical/manufacturing experience
  • Excellent organization, written and oral communication skills
  • Mechanically inclined to maintain manufacturing machinery and equipment
  • Must be able to work any shift and overtime as required
  • Goal oriented and a self-starter and ability to lead and manage in a team based structure
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering
  • Previous work experience in a union manufacturing environment supervising skilled trades employees
  • Computer skills using Microsoft Office applications
