The District Sales Manager and Area Sales Manager are entry-level, revenue-generating sales roles working with a group of Jeep, Chrysler, Dodge, RAM, Fiat and FCA US dealerships. This role will be responsible for a specific region within one of FCA's Business Centers across the country. The District Managers and Area Sales Managers are responsible for maximizing retail sales, vehicle production, performance, revenue and achieving established targets in his/her district, composed of up to 40 dealerships within the region.

This role will serve as a liaison between the dealers' and FCA corporate headquarters to assist in all areas of retail development including forecasting retail sales objectives by vehicle line, ensuring dealer orders meet market demand and managing monthly vehicle allocation and scheduling to ensure maximum production capability within the district. Reviewing minimum sales responsibility (MSR) and providing consultation on improvement opportunities will also be required within the role. In addition, the qualified candidate will be expected to review and analyze dealer financial statements and consult with dealers to improve their operations and retail business.

The District Manager will assist dealers to ensure compliance with FCA US LLC Dealer Standards, as well as ensure that advertising is consistent with the corporate message and branding guidelines. Additionally, this role will ensure that proper levels of sales satisfaction are present at all dealerships while identifying areas for improvement. 
 
The Area Sales Manager will serve as a liaison between the dealers' and FCA to assist in all areas of retail development including forecasting retail sales objectives by vehicle line ensuring the dealer orders meet market demand and managing monthly vehicle allocation and scheduling to ensure maximum production capability within the district.
 
Additional responsibilities for the District Sales Manager and Area Sales Manager will include reviewing minimum sales responsibility (MSR) and providing consultation on improvement opportunities and dealer profitability. Review and analyze dealer financial statements and consult with dealers to improve their operations and retail business. These roles will ensure that advertising and marketing initiatives are consistent with the corporate message and branding guidelines, as well as ensuring proper levels of sales satisfaction are present at all dealerships while identifying areas for improvement. Another responsibility is to motivate and lead independent entrepreneurs to higher levels of performance consistent with marketing plans, merchandising, and financial statement reviews. Training dealership personnel on new products is another critical responsibility.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related fields
  • A minimum of 6+ months of sales or marketing experience
  • Willing to relocate for promotional opportunities

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Past experience in an automotive environment
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment
  • Excel in building positive working relationships
  • Entrepreneurial individual with a history of leadership and achievement
  • Self-motivated with demonstrated ability to achieve goals under minimal supervision
