The Workplace Organization/Logistics Customer Service Pillar Lead for Mopar's Center Line Source Warehouse is responsible for implementing World Class Logistics (WCL) Methodology while running the day to day business as an Operations Manager. They must interact daily with team members from the shop floor, all Pillar leaders and management within the operations of a Parts Distribution Warehouse. The Pillar Lead will track projects, lead Kaizen activities and actively participate in WCL initiatives. They will be responsible for developing a Master Timing Schedule, 100 Day Plan, and conducting training for expansion of WCM/WCL methodology within the Distribution Center. They will responsible to use the tools of WCM/WCL including, but not limited to: LCS step methodology including value stream maps, flow analysis, WO step methodology including 5s, 3M analysis, JSRA, level flow, and line balancing. This leader will plan and develop material flows internal to the plant as well as external from suppliers and to end customers. They will be responsible to lead projects attacking loss through Cost Deployment according to WCL/WCM Methodology. The position will be responsible for Warehouse Operational activities, hourly and salary personnel, fixed assets, financial audit controls, parts inventory and customer satisfaction for all markets - both domestic and international. They will coordinate, develop, track and attain departmental goals with other Operation Managers including manpower allocation, lead time compliance, overtime, and throughput, as applicable. They will be responsible to study, collect and maintain job element data, to insure accurate efficiency and utilization of man-assignments. The position requires the ideal candidate to be a champion in team building and leading change by following World Class Logistics methodology.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Logistics, Finance or Material Handling/Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering
  • Must have 5+ years' distribution, logistics and inventory experience
  •  Continuous improvement in a leadership role dealing with operational KPI's
  • Proven communication skills at numerous levels of the organization
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

 Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree Preferred 
  • Knowledge of World Class Manufacturing/World Class Logistics with specific knowledge of either Focused Improvement, Workplace Organization or Logistics and Customer Service Pillars
  • Exposure to WCM/WCL audits process, ability to provide an Executive Summary and business case as required
