The Logistic Customer Service Pillar Lead - Mopar WCL Central Team is responsible for leading the implementation of World Class Logistics (WCL) across all MOPAR facilities. The Logistic Customer Service (LCS) Pillar Lead will drive the Logistic Customer Service Pillar activities and initiatives for the WCL Central Team designed to create knowledge, leadership and expansion of LCS methodology. This includes but is not limited to: learning and creation of knowledge of WCM Methodology and Competence Pillar; liaise with other global regions (i.e. EMEA, APAC, LATAM) to align to and generate pillar standards; lead and participate in worldwide pillar integration online events for knowledge sharing and discussion; create pillar standard documents, processes and implementation of best practices across all plants; develop FCA certified Pillar Specialists and assignment of specialist activities to drive expansion of knowledge and pillar activities; coach/guide and direct plant pillar leads for plant reviews; audit preparation and Kaizen journal activities; provide direction to plant pillar leads for route map expansion; pillar score and succession development; facilitate expansion of knowledge through the creation of course content at the World Class Manufacturing Academy (WCMA); conduct workshops, benchmarking trips and provide training to plants; and effectively measure results tied to activities that eliminate the plant's waste and losses. The Pillar Lead will work with a collaborative group consisting of other pillar leaders and specialists on the NAFTA WCM and WCL Central Teams. Frequent travel to plant manufacturing and MOPAR locations is required along with occasional international travel to other regions around the world.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Lean Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in lean manufacturing methodology and concepts
  • Strong analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to solve problems
  • Self-starter who works well with teams
  • Ability to multi-task and manage shifting priorities


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree preferred
