What you'll do:

The Mopar Financial Control and Cost Deployment Analyst will have dual responsibility, in Financial Control and World Class Logistics Cost Deployment. In both roles, the Analyst will be required to lead change in the Mopar Supply Chain Network and act as a financial advisor in a matrix management environment.

The Financial Control role includes responsibilities such as adherence to corporate and accounting procedures, the development of business plans, budgets and forecasts. As well as accounting month end, close activities, including analysis and explanations of variances to budget and forecast. The candidate will develop ad hoc analysis of business cases and financial performance for Senior Management reporting purposes.

As a World Class Logistics Cost Deployment Analyst, the responsibilities include driving the technical pillars and warehouse operations to identify the stratification of waste and losses to a specific warehouse process, phenomenon and potential root cause. Validate and certify benefit/cost studies associated with productivity and process improvements for the reduction of the major losses such as NVAA, unbalancing and lack of quality amongst others. The candidate is expected to develop and deliver clear and concise presentations adhering to the World Class Logistics methodology.


Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration
  • 2+ years of financial analysis experience
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
  • Proven communication skills at numerous levels of management
  • Highly motivated individual willing to bring creativity and lead change in the implementation of the cost deployment process
  • Must be willing to work extra hours to support requirements

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree (MBA, CPA or CMA)
  • Activity based costing / standard cost methodology
  • Budgeting and forecasting experience
  • Manufacturing, warehouse or supply chain management experience
  • Advanced level user of PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Hyperion Essbase, SAP
  • Knowledge of databases, a plus
  • High level of presentation (PowerPoint) and facilitation skills
