This position entails partnering with business owners as a representative of the World Class Finance working with various finance and accounting groups to identify and design process improvements and act as a liaison between these groups and the ICT team in project initiatives, leading them to a successful completion. This role is instrumental in identifying process issues and driving them to resolution, working side by side with business users and other team members. Therefore, the ideal candidate will need to have a consolidated project management experience, a continuous improvement mindset and the ability to work logically through process flows.
It will be beneficial for the candidate to have a project management and process improvement skillset. Lean Six Sigma process improvement knowledge is also a valuable skillset. Additionally, to help the candidate better understand the core business processes and provide hands-on support to business partners, knowledge in Finance Systems (e.g. SAP suite, Oracle Suite, Blackline, Microsoft Office, etc.) is essential.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
  • Minimum of 5 years of increasingly responsible professional experience
  • Business process re-engineering skills
  • Proven project management experience
  • Familiarity with financial system and reporting tools
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite

 Preferred Qualifications:

  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification
  • Demonstrates process thinking, problem solving and priority setting skills
  • Ability to multi-tasking
  • Self-motivated, strong leadership skills
  • Detail-oriented
  • Must be able to work in a team environment
