The US Market & Consolidation Profit Analysis Manager will be responsible for the consolidation and reporting of internal financial documents prepared for monthly, quarterly and yearly close activities. In this key position, the Manager will ensure timely and accurate reporting of variable profit to the Brands, Sales Operations and the NAFTA consolidation team. She/he will report to the US Retail Financial Consolidation Manager, will manage a consolidation analyst, and will interact with other Finance groups. This role will have the additional responsibility to prepare journal entries, investigate and resolve issues impacting the consolidation, and perform special studies.

More specifically, this individual will be responsible for:

  • Consolidation of the U.S. Retail market revenue, cost, incentives and resulting margins which become the variable sales contribution for the business plan, monthly forecasts and actuals
  • Analyzing and explaining financial performance
  • Performing an analytical review of results to ensure accuracy
  • Developing and reporting Brand performance toward variable sales contribution goals
  • Performing what-if analysis and special studies related to market or vehicle profitability
  • Preparing various management reports on US Market sales contribution for presentation to senior management
  • Ensuring all processes are appropriately documented and updated as needed
  • Developing improvements and efficiencies in processes

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting. If no Bachelor's Degree in the previous mentioned OR must have a Master's Degree in Business Administration (MBA), Finance, or Accounting
  • Minimum of 8 (eight) years of work experience with substantial exposure/experience in Finance systems and principles for accurate reporting and review of accounting entries. Fundamental accounting understanding required
  • Prior supervisory experience with the ability to lead, supervise and direct others
  • Highly motivated, organized, self-starter
  • Strong analytical, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills required
  • Ability to work well with cross-functional teams
  • Excellent time management, communications, decision making, presentation, human relations, and organizational skills as well as strong computer skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA or MS in Finance or Accounting
  • Experience in the principles for accurate reporting and review of accounting entries
  • Excellent time management, communications, decision making
  • Prior supervisory experience with the ability to lead, supervise and direct others
  • Ability to work with all levels of management within Finance and Commercial Operations
  • Database and Statistical analytics skills
  • Knowledge of Market Dynamics (Industry terms, share, pricing measurements, Incentives program actions)
  • Knowledge of Brand, Sales and Platform organizations' roles, responsibilities and supporting processes skills as well as strong computer skills
