Supplier Delivery Operations- Critical Specialist Job, Auburn Hills, MI

The Critical Specialist is responsible for working with high risk suppliers, assisting them in developing a short term 'build' and 'delivery' plan that supports FCA production plants, while focusing on a long-term recovery plan. The selected candidate will work closely with Materials Logistics Management (MLM), Component Capacity Management and Production Scheduling (CCM&PS), Purchasing and Supplier Quality (P&SQ), Logistics, Engineering and Mopar both for production/delivery coordination and to eliminate barriers. The Critical Specialist will lead the team and will interface with multiple levels of management both within FCA and at the supplier. The Critical Specialist will also learn the Supplier Delivery Operations Supervisor position.

 Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations Management or related field
  • Minimum of five years of Supply Chain Management or related experience
  • Strong interest in automotive industry 
  • Strong written and oral communication skills 
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills 
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Computer proficient (including spreadsheet, word processing, presentation and database applications) 
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of automotive/OEM experience in either supply chain or production control
  • Strong analytical, organization and communication (both oral and written) skills are a must
  • Ability to quickly filter through complex data, problem solve / root cause issues, and deliver accurate, insightful information
  • Must be able to demonstrate a proven track record of being able to lead a multi-faceted team to successful task completion
  • Strong computer skills are essential, with a focus in Microsoft Excel
  • A high level of personal integrity and accountability is a must
  • The ability to implement / drive change is necessary
  • Possess an understanding on how a supply chain operates
