The Direct Purchasing Global Integration Process Specialist will be responsible for documenting existing processes and developing/implementing new processes ensuring both SOX and audit compliance, and communicating and training said processes to Purchasing, internal customers and suppliers. This role will serve as the process owner for various global processes along with other applicable direct processes, providing ongoing day-to-day support for questions, interfacing with ICT and the Purchasing Methods Team for system corrections/enhancements, and identifying continuous improvement opportunities.

The main focus over the coming year will be to launch a new Global Source package system developed on SAP. This will replace the existing Lotus Notes application used by Engineering, Supplier Quality, Purchasing, and other cross-functional areas. Occasional multi-week travel to Italy or Brazil is likely.


Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering from ABET accredited university or a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain Management or a related field
  • Minimum of seven years of related work experience in purchasing and supply chain management
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of internal and external stakeholders
  • Passion and desire to lead a successful team that delivers results
  • Proven team building skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work across all areas in an organization and manage various functions and resources
  • A process thinker with advanced analytical skills
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills
  • Ability to quickly adapt to changes in direction and/or approach
  • Ability to solve complex problems, make tough decisions and reach for discontinuity

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degrees in Engineering from an ABET accredited university or a Master's Degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain Management or a related field
  • Minimum of three years of FCA Direct Purchasing Experience
  • Direct PentaSAP Experience
  • Strong cultural awareness and ability to communicate with global counterparts
  • Ability to speak/read/write Italian or Portuguese
  • Advanced knowledge of FCA corporate systems
