The Portfolio Planning Team anticipates the future and influences the strategic direction of new automotive vehicles. Forward-thinking plans are based on a complex understanding of an ever-changing marketplace. Consumer and product insights and understanding the core motivations of our customers are a key part of every vehicle FCA produces.

As part of the Portfolio team, the Features, Infotainment and Connectivity Product Planning Manager is responsible for leading a team who provides strategic guidance and planning for the innovation process, future infotainment systems and industry trends. By gathering and assessing customer, market, and competitor information (benchmarking and intelligence) across multiple vehicle segments and brands, the team can synthesize the information into feature and infotainment strategies and ultimately, business plans. The selected candidate will also be required to managing the preparation of management presentation materials supporting corporate governance and used in FCA governance venues. The Manager will lead within a matrix organization which includes the Brands, Product Design, Engineering and Connected Services requiring collaboration and managing strong team dynamics and driving the innovation ideation process for future feature development and forecasting technological progress within the industry. The selected candidate will support the global FCA infotainment planning efforts and driving global synergies as well as fostering global collaboration and develop competitive alternatives for features and infotainment using various inputs in order to support the corporate decision making process.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales and Marketing, Engineering, Finance, Management Information Systems or related field
  • Minimum of 10 years of industry experience as a strong, effective, dynamic leader
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience with Features, Connectivity or Infotainment
  • Demonstrated capacity to lead change and people
  • Passion for identifying new technology that can translate into a customer feature
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially PowerPoint and Excel
  • Strong analytical skills with an aptitude for formulating context, identifying patterns, developing insights, and implications and delivering data driven alternatives
  • Excellent presentation and interpersonal communication
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines to produce executive deliverables

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree with emphasis in Business, Sales and Marketing, Engineering, Finance, Management Information Systems or related field
  • Familiarity with various research and competitive intelligence tools
  • Experience working in global environment requiring coordination with various regions
