SAP Senior Business Process Specialist Job, Auburn Hills, MI

The successful candidate for this role will be responsible for coordinating and facilitating the design, build and deployment of enhancements and new functionality to the existing SAP solution or support of an existing SAP solution. Will be accountable to coordinate and manage all resources and deliverables associated with development or support activities in their area(s) of responsibility. In charge to assure delivery dates are achieved, resources are fully utilized and within budget. Responsible to manage the relationship with key business process owners including establish priorities for development activities, communication liaison between IT and the business organization and key interface Will provide consulting to the business organization on how SAP can be leveraged to improve business processing and technical guidance on how the capabilities can be technically implemented. Will be depended on to identify innovative approaches to resolve business issues leveraging new technology capabilities provided with HANA and Fiori.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related field
  • Minimally, 5 years previous experience, with strong technical proficiency in SAP Material Management including:
    • Multiple life-cycle implementations
    • Proven experience in SAP solution architecture leveraging SAP capabilities and best practices
  • Minimally, 5 years previous experience project management, configuration and design skills:
    • Strong analytical, communication and functional technical skills critical
    • Ability to communicate with diverse business community in order to translate business requirements into SAP solutions
    • Strong understanding of application development methodologies and the application development lifecycle
    • Excellent problem solving skills
    • Ability to handle multiple assignments and tasks independently
  • Minimally, 5 years previous experience managing people and project teams in order to deliver new SAP capabilities to the business community
    • Experience mentoring employees in order to facilitate their continued growth and development
    • Previous roles managing geographically distributed teams including off-shore Service Integrators
    • Ability to work as part of a global team
 Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree
  • SAP Automotive knowledge a plus
  • Working experience with HANA, Fiori, EDI, PI, Autosys, Solution Manager
  • SAP Certification
