The Risk Management Analyst II is an analytical position within the NAFTA Risk Management function.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Structuring and negotiating the regional insurance programs
  • Collecting, verifying and summarizing data required for insurance renewals
  • Overseeing large claims and oversight of the efforts of third-party claims administrator
  • Reviewing the risk-transfer conditions of contracts with third-party suppliers
  • Developing and managing the relationship with third-party insurance service providers including brokers, insurers and claims advisors
  • Coordinating the loss prevention property loss prevention initiatives under the direction of the Global Loss Prevention team

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Risk Management / Insurance, Finance or other related fields
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant insurance experience as a corporate insurance broker, underwriter or risk manager
  • Experience should be with a top insurance broker, insurance carrier or a large/complex manufacturer
  • Ability to demonstrate an advanced technical understanding of insurance policy terms and conditions
  • Strong interpersonal and analytical skills
  • Background in automotive or other similar industries

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA, Masters in Risk Management, Law degree or the other related advanced degree
  • Professional certification in underwriting or risk management (CPCU, ARM, or similar)
