The Program Management Specialist will be responsible for writing cross-functional investigation and action bulletins, coordinating business cases and necessary meetings to identify and manage changes in program direction, and facilitating the weekly PMT meetings. The Program Management Specialist will also assemble presentation materials for management reports and support vehicle level activities, including pilot and launch phase deliverables.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an ABET accredited university; other degrees, in combination with relevant engineering experience, may also be considered
  • Minimum of 8 years of engineering experience to include part engineering and releasing, change notices, and/or assembly plant pilot/launch/production processes
  • Adept at time management, follow up, and prioritization
  • Experience in part engineering and releasing, change notices, and assembly plant pilot/launch/production processes.
  • Experience with the total life-cycle of the vehicle engineering process from concept through launch phase



Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master of Science degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited university
  • Master's degree in Business Administration
  • Experience in team leadership positions
  • Green/black belt certification for Design for Six Sigma (DFSS)
  • Experience and understanding of the vehicle cost process (SCIE or VCE)
  • Knowledge of the automotive industry and competitive benchmarks
  • Program life cycle experience
  • Experience as a Resident/Quality Engineer at one or more manufacturing plants
  • Knowledge of the World Class Manufacturing (WCM) process
