Program Lead for Powertrain Virtual Analysis Job, Auburn Hills, MI

The Virtual Analysis Program Lead is responsible to:

  • Create Virtual Analysis work plans aligned with program timings
  • Identify virtual analysis tasks required for the program
  • Lead Virtual Analysis activities for Powertrain vehicle integration
  • Execute Virtual Portion of the DVP&R to meet all performance and functional requirements
  • Summarize and report program status to P/T Chief Engineers, Powertrain Integration Managers, Vehicle Integration groups and Vehicle Science groups
  • Responsible to proactively coordinate virtual analysis activities to support Powertrain and vehicle programs by identifying issues, developing system solutions and meet program performance

 

Basic Qualifications:

  • Master degree in Engineering from an ABET accredited university
  • 5 years of professional engineering experience
  • FEA experience in full vehicle and Powertrain systems (Engines/Transmissions and Axle/Drivelines)
  • Experience in vehicle and Powertrains functional integration
  • Project management skills in coordinating CAE activities with various release and functional groups
  • Demonstrated successful completion of large scale projects
  • Candidate must have excellent written/oral communication and organizational skills
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work unsupervised, recognize priority and get it done
  • Knowledge of product development process and timing

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the areas of PT - NVH, Durability, CFD and Performance
  • Strong analytical and technical background
