The Powertrain Process Integration Specialist will lead GPD integration strategies / methodology to measure effectiveness which Includes standard operating procedures, improvements, measurement data & lessons learned. The candidate will execute powertrain product development processes alignment with new programs from concept to market, collect status of deliverables, and ensure integrity of the program plan. She/he will tailor specific powertrain program plans via a Microsoft project plan with standard activities adjusted to specific program timing and content. The candidate will work with new process management solutions in to improve efficiency of the process and plan, prioritize, set goals and manage multiple projects in a technical and business environment. The powertrain process integration specialist will display effective communication skills to support meetings at all levels of the company, including senior leadership and establish partnerships both internally and externally and to influence without direct authority and represent the "Voice of the Customer" to the program team. She/he will drive team success by clarifying expectations of deliverables, demonstrate unwavering commitment to delivering results and champion achievements. The candidate will also exhibit a willingness to do things differently and consistently translate ideas into actions that deliver results and possess strong interpersonal skills with ability to work in a team environment.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
  • Program or Project Management experience
  • Experience in design or development activities with knowledge of overall vehicle or powertrain creation activities
  • Good to excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Project, Excel and PowerPoint with an emerging knowledge of SharePoint

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET accredited university or related Bachelor's degree with 5 years commensurate engineering experience
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification
  • SharePoint and/or Database Experience desired but not required
