The Mopar Advance Development Lead will be responsible for engaging with product development engineering to ensure new products meet all corporate standards for serviceability. The Manager will communicate Mopar requirements and set targets for programs to meet those objectives and conduct competitive benchmarking assessments of serviceability requirements. This position will have global oversight of scheduled maintenance and competitive maintenance practices on key components. In addition, this position is the "Voice of Mopar" responsible for proactively leading serviceability actions for all Mopar aftersales. The Manager will lead cross functional teams beginning in the early phases of a program with a focus on development of preliminary service procedures, required special tools, definition of service parts, part catalogs, and wiring diagrams. Key focus is to effectively manage change and minimize the impact on aftersales support of the dealer and customers through the product development process. In addition, this position is responsible for investigation and development of enhanced diagnostics to drive first fix visit metrics.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent from an ABET accredited university
  • 8+ years of after sales, engineering, quality or related experience
  • Strong organizational, leadership and communication skills required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master of Science in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited university
  • MBA
  • Vehicle platform experience (design/development)
  • Familiar with the CPCP/product development process
  • Mopar service or supply chain experience
  • Experience leading and managing others
