The Mopar Media & Social Media Manager will oversee our advertising operations for Mopar, including media planning, buying, communication and coordination between all our agencies producing assets and securing units. The ideal candidate understands how media is planned and purchased along with the flow of asset development and delivery. The Specialist will be a creative-thinker who can help drive new creative executions through unique placements and is responsible for the execution of Mopar's marketing efforts from start to finish.

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Collaborate and make marketing and advertising recommendations that support the broader Mopar teams, including Parts Sales, Service, Fleet and Wholesale
  • Plan and manager annual media buys across multiple channels: Addressable Television & Cable, Print, Social, Search and Digital
  • Coordinate with the Communications Manager on schedule/market changes
  • Collaborate with CRM, Digital Dealer and Website/ Mobile and regional marketing managers on development of Quarterly Promotions
  • Communicate all schedule/market changes to field, agencies and marketing team affected
  • Develop Field guides which help define media for the field team -- but also provide guide for dealer media collaboration
  • Work with the marketing brand manager to define required assets to support advertising campaign efforts Collaborate with Website Manager on SEO
  • Coordinate with agencies to develop, approve and create required assets
  • Collaborate with brand manager to develop advertising assets which push creative thinking, relevant for the content and represent the Mopar Purpose
  • Ensure assets are delivered in a timely manner to agencies and media
  • Report on advertising delivery, including ad performance, A/B or multi-variate testing, Landing Page/Microsite performance
  • Recommend media plan enhancements based on delivery and pilot opportunities
  • Develop and coordinate organic and paid social media plans with social media agency
  • Guide photo shoots and event coverage of social media; coordinate necessary approvals weekly social media content
  • Ensure social media posts are differentiated by audience -- and promote Mopar's over-arching brand goals

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Public Relations or related creative-arts industry
  • 5 years of experience in media planning, buying or advertising coordination/creation
  • Outstanding organizational and multi-tasking skills while meeting deadlines
  • Ability to jump from the creative side of marketing to analytical side, able to demonstrate why their ideas are analytically sound
  • Very strong PowerPoint capabilities to create highly engaging but professional presentations
  • Strong interpersonal skills, demonstrate empathy and commitment, proven ability to manage expectations
  • Ability to communicate results to leadership and in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient with other Microsoft Office products
