What You'll Do:

The Manager, Consolidation/Global Reporting & SOX is responsible for tracking and reporting the status of Purchasing & Supplier Quality Variable and Fixed Cost spend against FCA targets. The Manager will also assist Commodity Managers and Purchasing Operations by providing them accurate financial reporting.

  • Lead a team of three Finance professionals in the consolidation of Purchasing & Supplier Quality financials. Report the status and value against variable and fixed budget targets
  • Responsible for month-end reporting, which includes preparation, review and management sign-off Trend Analysis, JV Checklist and quarterly Out of Period adjustments
  • Work with Global counterparts and other Finance departments to gather information and create reporting
  • Reconcile data, report analysis and perform financial reviews with various stakeholders
  • Provide financial support to each commodity group (Body & Raw Material, Interior, Chassis & Engine, Electrical, and Powertrain) within Direct Purchasing
  • Perform month-end close and reconcile
  • Actively participate in the annual budgeting process for NAFTA Purchasing & Supplier Quality 
  • Assist in yearly Product Cost Study and Reclass process
  • Understand customer needs for data analysis, develop and provide pertinent, easy to understand reports and financial analysis
  • Lead cross functional process improvement recommendations for continuous enhancement in the areas of efficiency and accuracy for all related Financial Consolidation activities
  • Perform written and oral communication/presentations to Senior Level Management
  • Provide ad-hoc reporting as needed for all levels of management

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or related field OR Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA), Finance or Accounting (if undergraduate degree not Accounting/Finance)
  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant Fnance and/or Accounting experience
  • Finance experience in budgeting and forecasting

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Supervisory Experience
  • Knowledge of accounting including JVs, month-end close
  • Strong personal computer skills including Word, Excel (Pivot Tables) and PowerPoint
  • Excellent accounting, analytical and teamwork skills
  • Ability to interact with all levels - communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and in a time, constrained environment
  • Problem solving and ability to multi task
  • Experience with SAP, HFM, and Essbase
