The Labor Relations Corporate Staff Lead -- Assembly and Stamping is responsible for developing, implementing and leading labor relations strategies and solutions in unionized manufacturing and office environments. The successful candidate will demonstrate exceptional problem solving and conflict resolution skills, the ability to promote and grow effective business relationships with customers at all levels of the organization, and the ability to leverage those relationships to deliver operational results. This role will work collaboratively with manufacturing leadership and union officials at all levels within the company. The Staff Specialist will negotiate and administer local and national collective bargaining agreements, provide guidance and counsel on labor contract and HR policies, and ensure consistent application of agreements. This role will be responsible for Appeal Board grievance procedure administration, arbitration preparation and lead continuous improvement efforts to support operational strategies.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Human Resources/Labor Relations-related discipline
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience working in labor relations and implementing collective bargaining agreements
  • Experience working in a labor relations capacity at union represented manufacturing facility
  • Strong communication skills (written and oral)


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree with concentration in HR or Industrial Relations
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing processes
  • Arbitration experience
  • Exposure to collective bargaining is an asset
