What You'll Do:

The Internal Reporting Analyst II will be responsible for preparing monthly, quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements for FCA US LLC on an IFRS basis, along with supporting NAFTA segment reporting for the global company. The Analyst supports internal financial management activities and variance analyses for senior leadership. This individual will prepare trend analysis of the financial statements, the management briefing books and have a strong working knowledge of the financial statement hierarchy. The Analyst will assist in accounting research on various topics and special projects and other responsibilities, as assigned. Other responsibilities include coordination of SOX compliance, including documentation and testing as required; along with supporting external audit and review procedures.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting; if no Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting, must have a Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) or accounting designation Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Accounting or Finance
  • 2 years public accounting experience (Big 4 or large regional accounting firm) 
  • Strong focus on internal controls and attention to detail 
  • Strong personal computer skills including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Preferred Qualifications:
  • MBA or Master's degree in Accounting/Finance 
  • SOX compliance experience and excellent technical accounting skills 
  • Experience with SAP, HFM and Wdesk
  • Good overall business acumen 
  • Strong project management skills and ability to effectively prioritize tasks 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong analytical and teamwork skills 
  • Strong leadership and problem solving skills with a bias for action and issue resolution 
  • Ability to work under pressure and in a time constrained environment 
  • Overtime required at quarterly and year-end closes
