The IRF Supplier Capacity Management Specialist is responsible for resolving component capacity shortages to reduce the risk of production shortfalls at assembly plants. This position will have an international reach that requires strong strategic thinking and leadership skills to address capacity issues and implement resolutions. Competency in many systems and interacting across several different functional areas will be required. This includes global partners, affiliates and internal areas such as purchasing, supplier delivery risk management, supplier quality, product planning, logistics, global convergence and engineering, as well as working closely with internal global and external suppliers.

Leading cross functional projects and managing business case solutions will be required to resolve current issues and to proactively identify potential opportunities. Creation and execution of risk mitigation activities using strong logic and problem solving skills will also be expected. Role is also responsible for weekly creation, maintenance and the reporting out group KPI's.

This position resides under Supply Chain Management: Component Capacity Management and Production Scheduling.


Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3+ years of related experience
  • Strong Microsoft Office/Excel skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills across many functions and management levels
  • Strong project and time management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and initiatives simultaneously
  • Creative and strategic thinker
 
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Supply Chain
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong problem solving, analytical ability and presentation skills
  • Experience working with international teams is a plus
  • Ability to work at a fast pace
