The High Voltage Development and System Validation Engineer is responsible to manage a team of Engineers to ensure development and validation targets are successfully completed for high voltage electrification vehicle applications. The Engineer will manage development and engineering requirement execution from early development to post launch continuous improvements. They will prioritize work based on available resources and interact closely with several cross-functional teams. The selected candidate will use best test practices and document test results to ensure functional objectives, quality, program milestones, and customer satisfaction targets are fully met. He/she will provide technical leadership to engineers and report project status to management.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or other related engineering or Physics degree from an ABET accredited university
  • Good understanding of powertrain electronics/engine technology
  • Understanding of DVP&R and DFMEA development
  • Analytical problem solving skills to troubleshoot complex issues
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Highly motivated self-starter
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
  • Strong verbal/written communication skills
  • Proven leadership skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master of Science in Applied Physics, Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, Computer Engineering, or related Engineering field from an ABET accredited university
  • Software controls experience
  • System integration/developing validation tests for electrification systems
  • Working experience with FCA's diagnostic tools (wiTECH or CDA)
  • Working experience with Vector's CANalyzer or CANoe software programs
