The Health and Welfare Process Compliance Analyst will apply their strategic and analytical skills to provide data analysis impacting FCA's performance. This person must have excellent analytical capabilities to create accurate, thoughtful, clear recommendations that drive how we manage our business. In this role, the analyst will review, document, and validate existing controls for all HR data used to provide health and welfare benefits. Through ongoing audits of internal and external partners' processes, controls, and data, the successful candidate will ensure data integrity and process compliance. He/she will also identify opportunities for additional controls, implement those controls and control testing as they collaborate with various stakeholders within our business framework.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Actuarial Science or a related field
  • 5 years of experience working with financial data
  • Experience in data analytics, quantitative analysis, data mining, operations and/or data manipulation preferred
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive information
  • Proficiency with various software applications including Microsoft Office
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, work within established deadlines and interact with third parties (e.g., vendors, auditors and consultants)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Actuarial Science or a related field
  • Knowledge of benefit plan audit controls, PeopleSoft HR, PeopleSoft Payroll, FCA systems, and SOX controls a plus
  • Classes in accounting, math or finance
  • Project management skills
  • CEBS, ASPPA or actuarial designation a plus
