This is an exciting time to join Human Resources at FCA!

This HR Systems team supports Talent Management, Talent Acquisition, HR Communications and Performance Management processes and systems. This includes, but is not limited to: FCA Career Site, Employee Portal, Total Rewards, and PeopleSoft. As a member of the team, you serve as a liaison between IT and the business owner, you will collaborate with colleagues to develop requirements, evaluate, and recommend solutions.

Your role is a mixture of functional and technical expertise focused on:

"Funky-Tech": Determine best solution for the customer while understanding technical constraints. Adjust language and approach as appropriate, whether you're talking to IT or your business owner/customer

Process Improvement: Look at the "big picture", end-to-end process to ensure strategic alignment, research and analyze best practices, collaborate with functional groups to complete fit-gap analysis

Project Management: Analyze and define business requirements based on customer request, create and manage to project plan, deliverables and deadlines, test, implement and support solution

Pipeline Management: Weekly updates of activity

Problem Solving: Provide support for HR applications including, but not limited to, researching and resolving HR systems problems, unexpected results or process flaws, perform scheduled activities; recommend solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements

Customer Service: Identify and recommend process/customer service improvements, innovative solutions or alternate methodologies, policy changes and/or major variations from established policy that must be approved by appropriate leadership prior to implementation

Creativity: Understand current landscape in the customer world to design user friendly, intuitive solutions

Documentation: Create/Maintain/Streamline process and procedure documentation

Collaboration: Support broader HR initiatives

Every day is different in HR Systems. Monday, you may be testing a new enhancement, documenting a process, working with a vendor or solving a problem through ticket research and resolution. Tuesday might be spent participating in a process improvement workshop with your customer, meeting with IT on status of your project(s) and dropping everything to fix a highly visible problem. Wednesday, you might be working on a transformational project that could impact every person in the company.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or applicable area of study
  • Minimum 2 years of progressively increasing responsibility and experience in Human Resources/ Human Resources Operations / HR Business Partner roles or field with transferrable knowledge/skills/experience
  • Prior experience developing presentations and communicating opportunities
  • Process mapping and process improvement background
  • Proven track record in project management
  • Ability to work with data and data tools like Excel, Cognos
  • Strong communication skills
  • A demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment, to take initiative, to work independently of day-to-day supervision, and to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization
  • Willingness to challenge the status quo, ability to think without a "box"
