Seeking a results-oriented self-starter to join the Manufacturing HR Team for a great opportunity in supporting FCA's aggressive Manufacturing Business Plan. This role supports the Material Logistics Management organization which in turn manages and delivers $ 2 Billion in annual inventory for all the NAFTA-based manufacturing facilities with a daily consumption of parts that exceeds $185 Million. Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Implementing strategic short and long term HR initiatives, in partnership with the HR Business Partner and local leadership, to drive business results
  • Building and maintaining effective working relationships with management and employees to provide advice and counsel to both on employee-related and organizational matters, serving as an employee advocate and as a coach to employees and leaders
  • Leading all key HR processes for the MLM organization, including staffing, leadership development, compensation, talent development, performance management, and employee relations
  • Leading identification, selection and retention of world-class talent
  • Developing and executing plans for talent acquisition, development and succession planning
  • Driving human resource compliance and ensure standardization and consistency of application of HR and the company practices and policies
  • Effectively leading the function in a complex matrix environment, balancing competing priorities and engaging appropriate stakeholders
  • Monitoring performance management programs and providing support and guidance to managers / employees on performance issues and assessment tools
  • Effectively engaging with other HR team members to accomplish objectives

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Human Resources generalist in increasingly responsible roles
  • Broad HR technical expertise and systems knowledge - working knowledge of HR functional areas through prior experience as an HR generalist
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Customer focus - demonstrated ability to exceed customer expectations and deliver on commitments

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Human Resources, Business or a related field
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Act as thinking partner/coach for business leadership on various HR issues & processes impacting the strategic and long range business plans
  • Ability to collaborate with shared services organization, Centers Of Excellence and other HR business partner groups
  • Change advocacy/consulting skills - effective in implementing change within role, seeks to learn and implement best practices
  • Strategic thinking - ability to think globally and strategically
  • Ability to analyze data and rationalize to decisions that add value to the business
  • Ensure processes are consistent while maintaining client relationships through understanding their strategies and business operations
  • Strong networking and collaborative skills
  • Excellent judgment
  • Ability to determine priority based upon HR and business needs
