The Group World Class Finance -- Project Management Office is responsible for facilitating and/or driving value added Global projects, instilling the discipline of continuous improvement, utilizing a Portfolio Management framework to effectively manage projects and partnering with functional owners to achieve target benefits. The selected candidate helps to coordinate the following: 1) monthly Program Steering Committee reviews with Global Finance Leaders, 2) evaluate project metrics, 3) supports the evaluation/implementation of Process Improvement Initiatives.

Specific job responsibilities include but are not limited to the following activities:

  • Proactively manage Finance Transformation initiative as the PMO by ensuring project managers are guided through their projects and held accountable for following the program. Role and responsibilities encompass the utilization of the established methodologies (Project Management and Lean Six Sigma) and best practice standards used consistently throughout, not only through the initial Finance Transformation initiative, but all projects going forward across the global finance organization.
  • Hold periodic trainings for all Finance Project Managers during which the PMO team presents the methodology and tools to be implemented across all initiative projects as well as other FCA projects.
  • Responsible for reporting to the Program Steering Committee monthly providing updates on Program related activities, project milestone reporting and overall health of the initiatives portfolio.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum of 5 years of Accounting/Finance related work experience
  • High proficiency in SharePoint and all Microsoft Office applications including Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a Global environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
  • Project Management experience
  • Highly motivated self-starter and change agent
  • Demonstrated ability to work on cross-functional teams
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Strong process and systems focus
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with conflicting deadlines
