The FCA Quality organization is currently seeking a solutions-oriented Global Validation Engineer (Telediagnostics) to join the Quality team at the FCA US in Auburn Hills, MI. The Global Validation Engineer (Telediagnostics) is responsible to work with engineering functions across regions to develop and implement common processes and solutions to engineering problems with data acquisition. The successful candidate will leverage vehicle system knowledge and program management skills to bring regional teams together to identify technical needs, gather requirements, and develop common technical solutions with the supplier. Global asset management and planning are also critical functions required by this position.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from an accredited university or college
  • A minimum five years of relevant experience
  • Five years of overall vehicle system knowledge
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to deal with a variety of people at all levels of the organization
  • Self-directed and team oriented with demonstrated program management and problem solving skills
  • Open minded willingness to work with teams to bring their best ideas and practices to fruition
  • Results oriented
  • Motivated to learn new principles and ideas, and have excitement in applying these new principles
  • Motivated to make a positive impact in the work environment and on the quality of the products produced
  • Ability to work a varied schedule as needed including weekends

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Controls background (powertrain, electrical, chassis, etc.)
  • Working knowledge of Control-Tec Qualifier
  • Vehicle Integration or Powertrain Integration experience
  • Cross regional experience
