The Financial Analyst is responsible for supporting inbound transportation management to achieve financial metrics and provide financial control for movement of parts within NAFTA.  The position requires frequent interaction with director level management, supporting the decision making process in pursuit of corporate goals. You will have the opportunity to develop your unique skills, innovate as well as take on expanded roles to capitalize on your potential while gaining global exposure. The position will be located at our Chrysler Technology Center in Auburn Hills, MI.
 
What you'll do:
 
  • Assemble relevant information on inbound transportation by manufacturing and assembly plant and present to operations management.
  • Forecast modeling for standard inbound transportation, Excess and special transportation, and special assistance payments to suppliers for schedule changes.
  • Budget development.
  • Capital project analysis and control.
  • Develop cash forecasting for all of Supply Chain Management.
  • Champion the Supply Chain Management Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.
  • Team based performance reporting.
  • Participate in convergence activities to drive process improvements and streamline processes focused in NAFTA.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related degree
  • High proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications including advanced experience using Excel
  • Excellent and oral and written communication skills


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Business Administration or Accounting designation
  • 2 years of Finance related experience with knowledge of manufacturing process
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Self-starter willing to work in a team environment
  • Change agent seeking continuous improvement with opportunity to become a leader in change
