What you'll do:

The External Reporting Analyst II will be responsible for preparing quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements for FCA US LLC on a IFRS basis. The Analyst will assist in preparation of financial related documents. She/he will assist in review of financial related information included in FCA Italy S.p.A. quarterly press releases and quarterly filings. The Analyst coordinates the external and internal management representation letter process on a quarterly basis. She/he assists in technical accounting research on various topics and special projects and other responsibilities, as assigned. This position coordinates SOX compliance, including documentation and testing as required. Support external audit and review procedures. She/he provides accounting and financial reporting guidance and support to other corporate accounting individuals. This position will also be responsible for performing system analysis (SAP/HFM) to support key disclosures and financial statements (including the statement of Cash Flow).


Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting. If no Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting, must have a Master's Degree in Business Administration (MBA) or Accounting Designation
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Accounting or Finance, including at least 2 years public accounting experience (Big 4 or large regional accounting firm)
  • Strong personal computer skills including Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent
  • MBA or Masters in Accounting/Finance
  • Knowledge of accounting pronouncements, SEC rules and regulations and external reporting requirements
  • Experience with SAP, HFM and SmartView
  • Good overall business acumen
  • Excellent technical accounting, analytical and teamwork skill
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong leadership and problem solving skills with a bias for action and issue resolution
  • Ability to work under pressure and in a time, constrained environment
  • Significant overtime required at quarterly and year-end closes
