The Consent Order Specialist is responsible for supporting all deliverables associated with FCA US's Consent Order as issued pursuant to the authority of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. (NHTSA) The specialist supports efforts to fulfill the obligations set forth in the Consent Order, including updates to Performance Obligation and Industry Outreach plans, plans to maximize recall completion rates, efforts to implement the Training plan, support regular update meetings with NHTSA officials, and create formal communications to the agency. This position requires the individual to interact with all levels of the organization including; individual contributors, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), team managers, and business partners. The Specialist will work closely with the Vehicle Safety and Regulatory Compliance (VSRC) team to develop documents and implement initiatives related to the Consent Order.

Basic Qualifications:
  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or Engineering or Bachelor's Degree with related Program/Project management experience
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in one or more of the following industries: Program Management, Regulatory, Engineering, Quality, Automotive, Manufacturing, or Business
  • Expert level ability with Microsoft Office Products including Visio, PowerPoint, Excel and Word
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize accordingly
  • Proven project management skills
  • Proven technical writing skills
 Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with regulatory requirements, interacting with government agencies, automotive recall processes, and investigations
  • Excellent written, oral, and listening communication skills
  • Experience in the analysis of documents such as contracts, or proposed regulations
  • Experience with corporate audits and process mapping / improvements
  • Experience in automotive industry
