The Chrysler Brand Marketing Manager will support development of the Chrysler Brand's vision, DNA, and marketing communications strategies and creative deliverables for brand growth in awareness and consideration, ultimately leading to a defined and strong market position and sales goal achievement. The keys to success in this position include the ability to develop a calendar year marketing go-to-market plan, manage multiple projects simultaneously, oversee digital, partner and experiential programs, and to provide clear direction to internal and external teams. The qualified candidate will apply a deep understanding of the brand essence to achieve long-term vision and success, collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, clearly articulate thoughts, ideas, and strategic rationale, and will interact with top management on both the brand and advertising teams. The selected candidate will share best practices, have sharp working knowledge of industry and competitive activity, identify best-practices, source/provide insight on new approaches to the practice of retail vehicle communications, and achieve new benchmarks in retail vehicle creative and communications excellence. Additional responsibilities include working with internal agency stakeholder on managing marketing budget needs, calendar of deliverables, project timing, and excellence in creative delivery. Strong knowledge and experience in strategic planning, digital production, video production, time-action planning, presentation development and delivery, and collaborative brainstorming are required. Strong leadership as the Brand representative at marketing status meetings, new vehicle launch team meetings, creative concept review meetings, and executive level planning/strategy/ creative review meetings will be expected. This candidate will also be required to demonstrate working knowledge of dashboard assessments, data and analytics insights, and industry measurement tools to support healthy and consistent reporting principles so Brand marketing development, successes, and opportunities can be evaluated and implemented.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or related field
  • 7+ years brand marketing, brand communications, advertising or related experience
  • Digital, website and/or media experience
  • Competence and confidence to lead a team from strategic development, creative development to execution of campaigns
  • A vast passion for brand building
  • Excellent presentation development and delivery skills
  • Exceptional team player/thought leader with credibility and integrity to earn peer, senior management and cross-functional team confidence quickly
  • Aptitude to listen and fully understand the needs of various internal constituents, and successively propose defined solutions.
  • Compelling ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with operational stakeholders and brand partners
  • Organized self-starter
  • Proficiency to multi-task and find solutions
 
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Automotive marketing / client or agency experience
  • Specific brand strategy development experience
  • Clear enthusiasm to develop innovative and industry leading marketing communication campaigns
