The primary responsibility of the Administrative Coordinator is to oversee and/or perform a wide variety of administrative and support activities for FCA Foundation and Civic Engagement and the state and local government relations leaders.
Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Manage the administrative functions for both departments including schedule meetings/calls, provide special event support, draft correspondence, process expenses and additional administrative duties
  • Help ensure effective preparation, follow-up and execution of projects
  • Conduct research and analysis
  • Manage Foundation files and support the preparation and distribution of meeting materials and presentations
  • Help coordinate annual foundation audit and preparation of Form 990
  • Assist with grant-making process and governance
  • Implement communication related to the disposition of requests/inquiries for Foundation Funding and other community engagement activities
  • Act as a key point of contact and serves as a liaison between external constituencies and internal departments/colleagues 

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and/or related field
  • 2 years of related business experience
  • Can effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Thrives on taking initiative, solution driven, responsive and accountable
  • Has excellent judgment/naturally exercises diplomacy
  • Outstanding interpersonal and customer service skills, and superb verbal and written communication
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Office software , specifically PowerPoint and Excel

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Senior Administrative or Project Management experience, preferably in the philanthropic or nonprofit sector
