What You'll Do:

The Lead Financial Analyst is responsible for managing the accounting activities as well as the Fiat Reconciliation Process within the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Finance department.

  • Coordination of Month-End General Ledger Close process and maintaining files for forecasting and calculating accruals
  • Preparation of ICT specific general ledger account reconciliations in the Blackline Reconciliation System
  • Preparation of data and analysis for monthly and quarterly compliance reporting
  • Preparation of Fiat RICCOM Quarterly Reconciliations for related party transactions
  • Preparation of information for internal and external auditors related to accounting functions
  • This position will also serve as backup G&A consolidator within HFM and will partner with finance peers at Fiat to share best practices and develop common processes and ICT Operations on special projects in support of the CIO's top initiatives

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance OR Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA), Finance or Accounting (if undergraduate degree not Accounting/Finance)
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant Finance experience
  • Understanding of fundamental accounting principles
  • Proficient in use of Microsoft Office Suite Products, GLCM and PSAP
  • Organized, self-starter with strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability and desire to identify opportunities and process improvements
  • Flexible with the ability to work additional hours during peak periods

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA or Master's Degree with accounting designation
  • Experience with financial forecasting and budgeting
  • Exposure to Essbase 
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced, high-pressure atmosphere
  • Comfortable with all levels of management and peers
