The Cybersecurity Engineer will work with a multidisciplinary team for advanced development and production Driver Assistance System Safety programs. The applicant must have strong desire for implementing Cybersecurity architecture into Advanced Driver Assistance Systems and associated systems. To achieve this, the Engineer will be involved with identifying the Risk Level via hazard Threat Analysis and Risk Assessment (TARA) and Vulnerability Assessment, developing plans, security cases, and other work products associated with SAE 3061. The Engineer will interface with other vehicle teams and suppliers and must have the desire to learn new processes and technologies.

Basic Qualifications:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent (Materials /Chemical/ Civil/ Aerospace/Computer) from an ABET accredited university
  • Minimum of 7 years related Electrical or Computer Engineering experience
  • Experience within the area of Cybersecurity
  • Proven ability to apply the V-model development process
  • Proven competency in Systems Engineering
  • Trained in both DVP&R and DFMEA creation and execution
  • Working level Knowledge of C code/ Matlab/Simulink
  • Good problem solving skills
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master of Science degree in Applied Physics, Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, or Computer Engineering, or related Engineering field from an ABET accredited university
  • Solid design and analytical capability for system engineering or Advanced Driver Assistance Systems
  • Training and work experience in automotive embedded systems and control systems
