The Service and Parts District Manager is an entry-level training position that has revenue-generating sales responsibility with a group of Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge and RAM dealerships in the Southwest Business Center. While in training to become a Service and Parts Area Manager, the District Manager is responsible for developing dealership Parts and Service departments to grow revenue, improve customer satisfaction and achieve established targets in a telemarketing district composed of 20-30 dealerships. Following an extensive training program, this person is a candidate to become an Area Manager working directly with a group of Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge and Ram Dealers in a designated area within one of nine regional business centers throughout the U.S.

The Area Manager position serves as a liaison between the dealers, the Regional Business Center and FCA Corporate Headquarters, responsible for all areas of Service and Parts marketing, including: retail service advertising, promotion and display; retail/wholesale parts and accessory advertising, promotion and display; enhancing dealership processes to improve customer retention and advocacy; training dealership personnel on Mopar products and initiatives. The end-goal of these activities is to help our dealerships improve sales of new cars and trucks, improve customer retention, and improve profits. The qualified candidate will be expected to review and analyze dealer performance, advertising, staffing, financial statements, and generally consult with dealers to maximize their overall service and parts operations. Having the ability to motivate and lead independent entrepreneurs to high levels of performance is critical to this position.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Automotive or related fields
  • A minimum of 2+ years of sales or marketing experience
  • Willing to relocate
  • Ability to travel (overnight) 20 to 40% of the time
  • Willing to relocate for promotional opportunities

  Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in an automotive environment
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment
  • Ability to create and present effective presentations to dealership management
  • Prior sales or marketing experience
  • Excel in building positive working relationships
  • Entrepreneurial individual with a history of leadership and achievement
  • Self-motivated with demonstrated ability to achieve goals under minimal supervision
